Prince Bailey Zedekiah lost both his eyes due to injury but is a sweet, loving pug ready for his new home.
- 5.9 years old
- Neutered male fawn pug
- 18.5 lb
- Fostered in NJ
Bailey was brought to the veterinarian in terrible condition. The owner picked up the phone and called our rescue immediately, and we didn’t hesitate to say yes. Doctors informed us that they were unable to save Bailey’s eye and that he needed urgent enucleation surgery. We were told that he had lost his other eye in another attack just seven months earlier. Poor Bailey must have been terrified in his own home. This pup also had a healed broken jaw that had never received treatment. Bailey couldn’t seem to catch a break.
Bailey is a special soul with a heart as big as his love for cuddles. Though he has lost his sight, he hasn’t lost his spirit! This sweet boy is looking for a calm and loving home where he can feel safe, cherished, and adored.
Bailey enjoys his daily walks, cozying up with his favorite blankets, and simply being near his people. He adjusts well to new surroundings with a little help and is incredibly resilient. He thrives in a peaceful environment where he can navigate with ease and enjoy a relaxed lifestyle.
If you have room in your heart and home for a gentle, loving companion who will show you endless gratitude, Bailey is ready to be your most loyal friend. Let’s find him the perfect forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and truly belong.
