Meet Simon Jude!
Simon Jude’s life was turned upside down when his elderly owner had to move into a nursing home. A kind neighbor took him in and cared for him for two more years before he found his way to us at APR.
This sweet, quiet boy has been through a lot — his skin is in rough shape, and while he was treated for mange, he does need further treatment. He’s now on medication, but his healing will take time. His skin is thick and raw from constant itching, and we couldn’t even find a vein to draw labs — yet through it all, Simon remains impossibly sweet.
He’ll let you carry him like a baby, wags his tail at the sound of your voice, and even dances on his back legs for treats. He may be stinky right now, but we only smell love.
