Happy Tails: Phoebe Noelle

Phoebe Noelle recently celebrated her birthday — and what a joyful year it’s been!

When Karen and Joe adopted Phoebe from Appalachian Pug Rescue, they knew she was special from the start. At her recent vet visit, the entire staff came out to greet her — everyone was thrilled to meet the sweet little pug who had found her forever home. They remembered how much Karen and Joe’s previous pug, Doug, had meant to them, and were even more delighted to hear that Phoebe came from a rescue.

At home, Phoebe has truly become part of the family. Her favorite person in the world is their young son, Cole. She loves nothing more than hopping onto his bed in the morning to wake him up, and when he comes home from daycare in the afternoon, her curly tail wags non-stop with excitement.

Karen and Joe say they’re so grateful to Appalachian Pug Rescue for bringing Phoebe into their lives — and we’re just as grateful to them for giving this sweet girl such a wonderful home.

Happy birthday, Phoebe Noelle — and cheers to many more tail wags ahead!

Phoebe Noelle isn’t just a dog—she’s a whole production. Equal parts pug, sass goblin, and emotional support dictator. She will love you deeply… on her terms, mostly. She gives great snuggles, especially when burrowed under your blanket like a baked potato with opinions. But she’s also perfectly happy watching you from the stairs like a judgmental gargoyle, quietly evaluating your snack distribution skills.

Mornings start with a zoomie sprint, breakfast with Greek yogurt (because she’s cultured), and then a busy schedule of neighborhood surveillance and plush toy conquest. She plays fetch, power naps like it’s a sport, and occasionally barks at the wind to remind it who’s boss.

She’s leash trained, housebroken, crate trained, and sleeps through the night like a snoring, slightly dramatic angel. She’s social with other small dogs but has the personality to fly solo, too—just add humans, snacks, and soft bedding. She’s smart, she’s funny, and she’ll politely tolerate your affection until she decides your presence is no longer required.

In summary:
– Affectionate? Yes, on her terms, mostly.
– Judgmental stair gargoyle? Full-time.
– Snack expectations? Uncompromising.
– Emotional support diva? Certified.

If you’re ready for a companion who’s hilarious, loving, and possibly royalty, Phoebe Noelle is now accepting applications.
