Freddie The Lovebug

Freddie the Lovebug was APR’s First Hospice Pug

From our Director, Kelly: Freddie the Lovebug was approximately 15-year young when he made his way across the rainbow bridge. He had a great love for exploring, cuddling, and cake! And, although he was only with us for a brief time, he had a huge impact on our hearts. His brother, Milo, has found his furever home and can be viewed on our Happy Tails tales.

From Freddie’s Foster Mom

Freddie was just the sweetest little old man.

Even though he couldn’t see well, he loved being outside and walking the garden. He was a champion snuggle pug. It didn’t take long after he arrived to realize his new best friend, Eddie, got cake everyday … oh, he wanted cake, too! He also enjoyed going through Starbucks for his pupachino. I’m so grateful I was able to have him, even if it was for just a little while. He’s in the New England Pug Rescue 2023 calendar, in the month of June, for everyone to see ❤️❤️He and Eddie are together over the rainbow bridge now, probably organizing the dessert bar! ❤️❤️.
