Esme has been adopted! Happy tail coming soon.
Esme Rosalie life started in Mexico. She came to the US via The Pug Queen. At intake, she had a broken arm that was never fixed, but was healed over.
- Approx 4 years old
- Female fawn pug
- 15 lb
- Fostered in Maryland
Esme Rosalie also came to the US with Demodex; the same form of mange that Hope Grace is also healing from.
Esme Rosalie is now an energetic pup ready to bring serious fun and laughs to her new home. She is mainly house-trained and gets along great with all ages, kids, and every dog she has met. With her super sweet nature, Esme Rosalie loves being around people and soaking up all the affection. She will crawl into your arms and snuggle up next to you whenever she can.
Esme Rosalie is eager to learn and is already mastering commands like “sit” and “wait.” Esme Rosalie will listen when food is involved and is still learning her name. She enjoys walks, but does need to be carried sometimes when she decides she is done walking.
Esme Rosalie is great with all types of toys (balls, ropes, stuffed animals, bones, etc.) but does have an adventurous side. She will climb on chairs, couches, and, if you turn your back on her, the table (or anything she can – her foster family is working on this and she has already shown improvement). Obviously, that little arm of hers that had once been broken was no match for her spirit!
Esme Rosalie loves food and can entertain herself with a ball or toy. While having another dog around is not necessary, she really enjoys playing with her foster furbro!
Esme Rosalie has that puppy-like energy with a heart of gold. She does go into her crate (door left open) during the day to sleep on occasion. Esme Rosalie will fit right into any family that adopts her.
Esme Rosalie will go to her furever home up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
