Reggie came to APR because his circumstances changed through no fault of his own. In the end, he came to the right family and they love him so much!
Reggie has been a dream come true to our family – the most perfect match for our household and we couldn’t possibly love him anymore! While his rescue by the Appalachian Pug Rescue team was due to unforeseen circumstances, the extremely thorough matching process the APR team used to place him in our home ensured the most successful outcome for both us (his new furever family) & for Reggie (the most important goal!).
Starting with the application, then contacting several references, vet reviews, full family interview and a home visit ensured that Reggie’s life would be stable and full of fun from here on out. And, it was all so efficient, even our vet was happily surprised to hear about what an amazing process this was for all.
