Emmy Lou – From Puppy Mill to Happy Home

Emmy Lou started life in a puppy mill then lived outside in a particle board box.

Miss Emmy Lou came into APR in October 2022 when her family surrendered her because she couldn’t be housetrained. APR found her the right foster family where she learned love, attention, discipline, and received proper nutrition. She was quick to learn and adjust to her new, happy life!

From Emmy Lou’s Family

Our pack is complete, and in the most perfect way! We added Emmy Lou, to join Reggie and Roxie, and the fun hasn’t stopped since she came home! Emmy Lou & Reggie have become fast friends, besties even, and can be found playing all day and then snuggling all night – the perfect pair!

The APR team was so amazing from when we first welcomed Reggie, to hearing that we’d love a ‘playmate’ for Reggie to grow up with, and then, matching us with Emmy Lou. From beginning to end, the process is thorough and efficient and keeps the pup’s best interest in mind.

Thank you APR for making 2022 one of the best, we cannot put into words the love we have for our pack – Reggie, Emmy Lou & Roxie, and how thankful we are to have the chance to spoil them from here on out!
